A good installer measures the exact entry height, plans level landings at the door and at any turns, and adds edge guards and a non-slip surface that drains. When hiring, ask whether the need is temporary — in which case a rental or modular system makes more sense than poured concrete — and confirm whether your municipality requires a permit for a permanent installation, as several Indianapolis-area towns do.
